Natisha Hales is a personal injury attorney at Sutliff & Stout, Injury & Accident Law Firm, where she brings a rare blend of compassion, grit, and journalism-honed clarity to every case she handles. Born in New York City and raised in New Mexico, Natisha’s upbringing exposed her to diverse communities and perspectives at an early age. Her path to the legal profession began when she was just a teenager, working as a file clerk and runner in her grandfather’s law firm in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Those early experiences with her grandfather shaped her strong sense of empathy and commitment to standing up for others.
Natisha earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from New Mexico State University. Before entering the legal field, she pursued a passion for journalism and spent six years working as a newspaper editor. There, she developed the investigative instincts, storytelling ability, and attention to detail that now serve her clients in powerful ways. She went on to follow in her grandfather’s footsteps and earned her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School.
Since moving to Houston in 2013, Natisha is now a proud Texan. She joined Sutliff & Stout in 2015 and has grown with the firm over the years. Today, she is a licensed Texas attorney who represents injured individuals and families in cases involving automobile and trucking collisions, and other serious injury matters. She is actively involved in all stages of litigation and is known for her thorough preparation, responsiveness, and client-focused approach.
Natisha works closely with clients and their families to ensure they feel informed, supported, and heard throughout the legal process. She approaches every case with empathy, diligence, and a deep sense of responsibility to those she represents.
Outside of the office, Natisha is a devoted mom to her daughter, Maya. She also enjoys traveling and writing and is actively engaged in her community.
