Houston, TX (June 4, 2019) – An 11-car pileup left one adult and two children injured in North Houston this morning.
The car accident happened around 6:15 a.m. on Interstate 45 North Freeway at West Mount Houston Road.
According to other drivers involved, there was an earlier two-car crash causing people to stop on the freeway.
The driver of the 18-wheeler stated that he couldn’t stop fast enough.
A Precinct 4 deputy in his personal vehicle was involved in the collision.
An adult and two children in a white Hyundai Accent suffered minor injuries and were transported to the hospital.
Hazmat crews worked on cleaning up the fluids that were spilled on the freeway as the freeway was shut down for hours.
Crash investigators are trying to determine the cause of both crashes on the freeway.
