4-vehicle Crash Killed 1 Person
LAKE JACKSON (October 30, 2018)– One person is dead after a four-vehicle collision Monday morning on Highway 36 in Lake Jackson, Brazoria County.

According to DPS, around 6:45 a.m. a vehicle was traveling southbound when it veered into the northbound lanes of traffic, causing the crash. Three of the vehicles ended in the grass several feet from the road. One person died and two people were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

No names have been released. Authorities closed off Highway 36 between CR 310 and FM 2611 for several hours. State troopers are investigating the cause of the crash and police accident reports will be made available in ten days.
