Amber Sahagun Killed in Deadly Odessa Wreck

Odessa, TX (3/23/2020) – One woman was killed and another person was left injured in a crash Thursday in Odessa.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. along Interstate 20. A collision occurred between a Dodge Truck, a Jaguar, and an 18-wheeler. According to police, the driver of the 18-wheeler failed to control their speed and crashed into the rear of the Jaguar who was stopped due to construction. The Jaguar then crashed into the back of the Dodge.

The passenger of the Jaguar, identified as Amber Sahagun, 39, was killed at the scene.

The driver of the jaguar was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
