San Antonio, TX (12/9/2019) – One person is dead and another person is injured after a wreck between two 18-wheelers occurred in Guadalupe County Thursday morning, December 5.
The incident happened around 1:40 p.m. Monday afternoon when one semi-truck came across a red pickup truck stopped on the road. The semi-truck was pulling off to the shoulder when a second semi-truck came by. The second semi-truck attempted to avoid the first semi-truck but then saw the pickup and ultimately decided to collide into the first semi-truck.
Both drivers declined being taken to the hospital. No serious injuries were reported.
Oil and diesel fuel spills from the semi-trucks closed down roadways for several hours.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
