Elderly Woman Killed in Apartment-Vehicle Crash

Fort Worth, TX (1/7/2020) – A 64-year-old woman is now dead after a car crashed into her Fort Worth apartment while she was sleeping.

The accident happened on Post Oak Boulevard Monday morning around 10:15 a.m.

The woman, identified as Malinda Sue Goulett, was killed at the scene of the crash when a vehicle crashed through the apartment wall and trapped her underneath the wreckage.

The driver of the vehicle was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.

Investigators are currently looking into what may have caused the vehicle to crash into Goulett’s apartment early Monday morning. Police will also conduct interviews, contact witnesses, and possibly bring in Accident Reconstructionists to conduct the investigation. The investigation results will then reveal the cause of the negligent actions of the driver behind the vehicle that destroyed the woman’s apartment.
