Fatal Crash at 9500 Galveston RoadHouston (January 23, 2018) – The car accident occurred on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 around 5:50 p.m. at 9500 Galveston Road.

According to Sergeant M. Warhol and Officer N. Luu with the Houston Police Department, the driver of a charcoal-colored Nissan Altima stopped in a northbound lane of traffic at Galveston Road, waiting for southbound traffic to clear to make a left turn into a business parking lot.

The driver of a white Ford F-250 pickup truck traveling northbound failed to control his speed and resulted in a rear-end collision killing a passenger in the back seat of the Nissan.

No charges have been filed at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
