Lubbock, TX (8/21/2020) – A fatal crash occurred in Lubbock and left one dead and another injured on Thursday.
The accident happened along the Slaton Highway near the Coors Plant around 5:35 a.m. A van pulled out of the plant onto U.S. 84 when another vehicle collided into the back of the van.
The driver of the second vehicle, 42-year-old Juan Gabriel Luera, was killed as result of the wreck.
The driver of the Van, 24-year-old Ryan Frank Salinas, and his passenger were left with non-serious injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
