Laredo, TX (1/9/2021) – A vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle and sent multiple people to the hospital.

The accident happened at the intersection of Reynolds Street and Texas Avenue when an SUV struck a parked pickup truck.

Four people were sent to the hospital: three men and one woman. All remain in stable condition at area hospitals.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.

When a person’s negligent actions are the cause of an accident, that person is liable for the resulting damages. As a result of the wreck by the driver, three additional people were injured and a parked car now suffers damage.

According to Forbes.com, the average American experiences three or four car accidents in their lifetime, and almost all collisions result in significant property damage. The car accident attorneys at Sutliff & Stout have helped countless car accident victims in Houston with their property damage claims. The at-fault vehicle owner’s insurance policy should pay to repair property damage. Even in no-fault states, the at-fault vehicle’s policy pays up. In this situation, the coverage is provided by the insurance company covering the vehicle.

Following a fatal car accident, victims and families of victims may find the claim process difficult. More often than not, the insurance claim adjuster will do what they can to make the claims process harder on you to benefit the insurance company. They might try to get you to admit it was your fault or convince you to accept a low-ball settlement. To avoid this frustrating process, contact a personal injury lawyer to file your claim. To schedule a free and confidential consultation about how much your personal injury claim is worth, please call our office anytime at 713-987-7111.
