Greyhound Bus Crash Left Over 5 Injured in Montgomery County

Montgomery County, TX (11/14/19) – Several people are now hospitalized after an 18-wheeler collided into a stalled Greyhound bus on I-45 early Thursday morning.

According to the DPS, the crash happened on I-45 around 5 a.m. when the big rig slammed into the rear of the Greyhound bus that was waiting for another Greyhound bus to arrive.

Out of the twenty-six people on the bus, five suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the big rig was taken to the hospital, where he also suffered minor injuries.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.

Texas Truck Accident Attorneys

An investigation to this accident will prove essential due to the fact that a commercial truck put at least five bus passengers at risk. Because the commercial truck slammed into the stalled Greyhound bus, the driver of the semi-truck, and the trucking company, may be liable for any damages brought forth upon the Greyhound bus.

The elements of liability, damages, and the ability to pay are critical in determining the value of a case or claim. Without all three elements, a case has little to no value given the nature of our legal system.
