Port Arthur, TX (10/21/2019) – Motorists were hit with heavy rains Monday morning which led to two rollover accidents on I-10 near Taylor’s Bayou in Jefferson County.
The truck accident occurred around 10 a.m. Monday morning east of Taylor’s Bayou. The driver of the semi was headed westbound at high speeds when lost control due to the wet roads and veered into a ditch.
The driver of the semi was not injured and was the only vehicle involved.
A second rollover accident happened on I-10 near Taylor’s Bayou. A car was traveling eastbound on I-10 when it hydroplaned and rolled over several times.
At this time no injuries have been reported.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to both accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
