Henry Earl Roberson Dead after Two-Vehicle Crash in Rusk County

Kilgore, TX (11/25/2019) – A man is dead after a deadly crash occurred Tuesday afternoon on US-259, seven miles south of Kilgore.

Henry Earl Roberson, 76, was driving in a Cadillac SRX going east on FM-850 when he stopped to turn. At the same time, Dreama Marie Reese, 21, was going south in an Infinity G35 on US-259 when she approached the intersection of FM-850. Roberson attempted to cross when he was ultimately hit by Reese.

Roberson was transported to a UT-Health hospital, where he later died.

Reese was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center where she remains in stable condition.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
