Hit-and-Run Collisions at COTA Left One Man Dead in Austin

Austin, TX (11/03/2019) – A man was killed while trying to cross the street from Circuit of the Americas Sunday night.

The accident occurred at FM 812 at Circuit of the Americas Blvd when the blue or teal Ford F-150 struck the pedestrian while he was crossing the street. The pickup then fled the scene and went eastbound on FM 812. 

According to DPS, the truck will have front end and hood damage and missing a Ford F150 King Ranch emblem.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the pickup truck is advised to call Crime Stoppers at 512-472-8477.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
