Smith County (12/2/2019) –
One man is dead and another sustained serious injuries after a two-vehicle wreck on US 60 east Friday morning.
The accident occurred in Deaf Smith County when a 62-year-old man driving a pickup towing a trailer slowed down to make a right turn. According to DPS, another truck driven by Blayne Black, 32, hit the trailer.
The passenger riding with black, 39-year-old Johnny McDonald, died at the scene.
Black was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
