Galveston, TX (6/16/2020) – A Crosby firefighter is now missing after being involved in a three-vehicle wreck in Galveston Sunday night.

The accident happened on the Galveston Causeway Bridge. According to the Coast Guard, a Jeep with three men and a dog inside crashed into a guardrail on the outbound lane of the causeway near the Tiki Island exit. Kent Zavala, 20, went missing after he was ejected from the Jeep and thrown into the water.

Two of the men were taken to UTMB with critical injuries. The dog has also been recovered.

Zavala has not been found.

Texas EquuSearch continues to search for Zavala, but the Coast Guard has suspended their search.

As the search for Zavala continues, it’s important that the family of Zavala seek justice for the untimely crash Zavala was involved in. It’s important to contact an attorney so as to be fairly represented and accounted for during an accident that wasn’t your fault. An attorney can deal with insurance adjusters for you, negotiate settlements, and represent your best interests if a lawsuit is needed. If you or a loved one were involved in an accident, immediately contact a legal expert to help you evaluate your options.
