Luis Guzman hit and runHOUSTON (November 28, 2018) – Tuesday evening a man was arrested for an at-fault accident while drunk driving with his 6-year-old son was in the car.

The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. when Luis Daniel Guzman, 32, was driving a gray minivan with his son in the front seat. Guzman hit a motorcyclist at Veterans Memorial Drive and Blackpool Place and kept going. Later he rear-ended another vehicle on Veterans Memorial and Bammel North Houston. Guzman fled the scene of the crash with his son by foot.

Authorities found Guzman at home, Willow Bend Apartments, where he was arrested. His son suffered lacerations from the second crash and was checked out by paramedics.

Guzman is charged with felony DWI with a child under the age of 15 and failure to render aid.
