Midland, TX (3/4/2020) – A man from Midland died Saturday after a wreck involving two vehicles in Midland.
The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. at State Highway 137 and County Road 2400. Kenny Varnadore was in his Ford F-250 on SH 137 when he attempted to pass a Peterbilt tractor-trailer. As he was attempting to pass, the Peterbilt turned left onto County Road 2400. That’s when the Peterbilt truck struck Varnadore.
Varnadore was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Peterbilt wasn’t injured.
Varnadore, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, died at the scene.
The other driver wasn’t injured.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
