Man Injured after Car Flipped off Gulf Freeway

Houston, TX (12/9/2019) – A man was injured late Friday evening after his car flipped off the Gulf Freeway and landed onto the feeder road.

The crash occurred around 10 p.m. when a driver rear-ended the said man’s car on the Freeway. The impact then sent the man’s vehicle clear off the Freeway and onto the feeder near Clearwood Drive. The car landed upside down.

The man was cut out of the vehicle and taken to a trauma center nearby for his injuries. He is expected to survive.

No other injuries were reported.

The driver who rear-ended the man remained at the scene.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
