Abilene, TX (10/3/2020) — Multiple people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash during Cruise Night in Abilene.

The collision happened at N 1st Street and Shelton Street. A red pickup truck that was headed west on N 1st Street tired to beat the red light at Shelton Street. He hit the dip at the intersection, lost control, and struck several cars. The left rear tire came off the truck.

According to police, injuries were minor. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
