Wise County, TX (5/15/2020) – One driver was killed and another was arrested after a two-vehicle wreck Wednesday morning.
The accident happened around 11:37 a.m. on Farm Road 730. The accident happened when a Dodge Ram 3500 driven by 61-year-old Tommy Lee Russell was headed north in the southbound lane of FM 730 when he struck a Chevrolet Malibu driven by 36-year-old Nikki N. Etter.
Etter was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the accident.
Russell was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter and booked into the Wise County Jail.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
