Ransom Road near Highway 99Fort Bend County (June 7, 2019) – A driver is dead and three passengers injured in a single-vehicle crash in Fort Bend County.

The car accident happened on Friday around 3:45 a.m. on Ransom Road near Highway 99. The woman was driving a white Nissan sedan with three passengers. She was speeding when she lost control, went off the road, hit a guardrail and slammed into a concrete barrier. The driver died at the scene.

One passenger was transported by LifeFlight to a hospital in the Texas Medical Center. The other two passengers were taken by ambulance to Memorial Hermann Sugar Land. There have been no reports on their condition on the identities of the people involved in the crash.

Crash investigators will review all factors in the collision and police reports will be made available in approximately ten days.
