One Dead, One Injured after Three-Vehicle Crash

Odessa, TX (11/13/2019) – An Odessa woman died early Monday morning after a three-vehicle collision on State Highway 302.

According to the Department of Public Safety, Mryna Renteria-Morales, 48, was driving southbound on FM 1936, drove through a stop sign, entered the intersection at SH 302 and collided with two vehicles, a Ford F-250 and Ford F-350.

Renteria-Morales died at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the Ford F-250 suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.

No word has been released on the status of the driver of the Ford F-350.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.

Hiring a Personal Injury Lawyer

The reckless actions of Renteria-Morales not only resulted in an accident between two cars, but possibly thousands in damages in medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering. The drivers of the Ford vehicles may be entitled for a personal injury lawsuit to compensate for these significant damages.

It is important to have an experienced lawyer handling the case who understands personal injury. An attorney can represent your best interests if a lawsuit is needed.
