Red Light Runner Causes Crash in San Angelo

San Angelo, TX (3/27/2020) – A crash caused by a red light runner sends people to the hospital Wednesday night in San Angelo.

The accident happened, according to police, around 10 p.m. when a passenger car headed north on South Bryant disregarded a red light and struck an SUV headed east on W. Avenue L.

Multiple passengers were taken to Community Medical Center. Their injuries remain unknown.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.

Running a red light at a traffic stop is a violation of Texas roadway laws, and a clear indication of negligence. If someone commits an act of negligence, and it results in a death, the family may be entitled to a wrongful death claim.
