Austin, TX (12/2/2019) –A man is now dead after being involved in a fatal motorcycle-auto crash Sunday evening in Austin.

The accident occurred around 7:15 p.m. at the 400 block of E Ben White Blvd when a Honda CRV crashed into a 2009 Yamaha motorcycle. The CRV then drove into a Wal-Mart parking lot.

Risean Lee Green, the motorcyclist, was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, where he later died from life-threatening injuries.

Police later found the CRV and its owner, 30-year-old Amanda Overman, who was allegedly drinking at the time of the accident. She faces charges of Intoxication Manslaughter and has been arrested.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.

At Sutliff & Stout, we fight for motorcycle accident victims to get the compensation that they deserve. For the case of Risean Lee Green, not only will his family have the right to be compensated for his time at the hospital, but those related to him can file a wrongful death suit due to the negligent actions of Amanda Overman.

We understand that motorcycle riders face unfair prejudices and we’ll work tirelessly to make sure that you receive a full and fair settlement for your injuries and other losses after an accident.
