Six-Car Collision Left Two Dead in Orange County

Orange County, TX (10/30/2019) – Two people are dead after a multi-vehicle accident on I-10 near Adams Bayou near Orange County.

According to the Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred around 5 a.m. when a driver of a GMC pickup truck traveling westbound failed to slow down for stopped traffic and struck several stopped vehicles.

Six vehicles were involved in the wreck. Two appear to have major damage.

Two people in the second vehicle were killed after getting hit by the GMC. 

Injuries have been reported, but the extent is unknown. 

All westbound lanes are closed and motorists should expect delays.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
