Lubbock, TX (7/22/2020) – A teenager was injured Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle crash occurred in Lubbock County.

The accident happened around 10 a.m. at FM 1585 and CR 2500 when a pickup headed southbound on CR 2500 failed to yield and collided into an SUV going west on FM 1585.

According to DPS, a teenager was taken to University Medical Center with a possible broken leg.

No other injuries had been reported as of time of this report.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.

Driving with Negligence

Negligent driving is wholly apparent in the situation above. Failing to yield at an intersection is a blatant traffic violation and almost always leads to accidents.
