Teenager Killed, Another Teenager Injured in Fatal San Antonio Wreck

San Antonio, TX (2/12/2020) – A 19-year-old woman is dead and another teenager is injured after a fatal single-vehicle wreck occurred Sunday night in San Antonio.

The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. when a Chevrolet Suburban on Loop 410 overcorrected and slid sideways down an embankment to the access road. The Suburban then rolled.

The 19-year-old female passenger was ejected and died at the scene.

The driver of the Suburban was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.

The surviving family of the 19-year-old woman may be entitled to a wrongful death claim due to the actions of the male driver. While it remains to be seen what caused the accident, the actions resulted in the untimely death of a teenage woman.
