Three Men Dead, One Man Injured after Fatal High Speed Crash

Houston, TX (3/9/2020) – Three men were killed and one is left seriously injured after a high-speed crash early Friday morning.

The accident occurred around 2 a.m. in northeast Harris County on Aqueduct Road near North Lake Houston Parkway when a vehicle drove through a stop sign and crashed into a tree.

The driver, 19-year-old Arturo Mireles, and a front seat passenger were killed instantly.

A backseat passenger died on his way to the hospital.

The two passengers were identified as 21-year-old Alfonso Quintanilla and 25-year-old Francisco Vargas.

A fourth passenger, 25-year-old Alan Parada, remains in serious condition.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.

Because Mireles’s negligent driving resulted in three deaths and one person to be seriously injured, the families of the victims have a right to file claims against the insurance company. However, insurance companies can be unreliable. At Sutliff & Stout, we hold insurance companies accountable.  We know the law and know what folks are entitled to receive.  Our lawyers have decades of experience fighting with insurance companies and making sure that our clients are treated fairly under the law.  If you feel like you may need help, call us today to discuss your claim.
