Two Men Dead in a Drunk Driving Crash Richmond Avenue

Houston, TX (July 29, 2019) – Two men died and three injured in a drunk driving crash on Richmond Avenue on Sunday morning.

The car accident happened Sunday at 2:30 a.m. in the 6400 block of Richmond Avenue near Hillcroft.

The two men were in a Lexus pulling out of driveway, approaching the median to make a left turn, when they were T-boned by a Cadillac.

The two men in the Lexus died at the scene.

The Cadillac was carrying the driver and two passengers. Everyone was intoxicated and were transported to a local hospital for their injuries.

The driver of the Cadillac faces two counts of intoxication manslaughter and one count of intoxication assault. Several alcoholic beverages were found in the car and near the scene of the accident.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
