Temple, TX (8/31/2020) – A two-vehicle wreck in Temple left one woman dead and four injured on Monday.

The accident happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Southeast HK Dodgen Loop and State Highway 95. A woman driving a Honda CRV failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection and collided with a pickup truck.

The driver of the Honda was killed.

A second woman and two children riding in the Honda, and the driver of the pickup truck, were injured.

One of the children was listed in critical condition.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.

Driving with Negligence

Negligent driving is wholly apparent in the situation above. Failing to yield at an intersection is a blatant traffic violation and almost always leads to accidents. The Honda driver failed to yield to a stop sign, and a collision occurred, causing multiple injuries to four people, including two children. Because of this, those injured may be entitled to a personal injury claim against the Honda driver.
