Houston, TX (1/24/2020) – Two people were killed this morning due to the explosion at Watson Valve Services early Friday morning. This comes from the same explosion that caused a homeowner to be hospitalized and a man to go missing from reports early this morning.
The blast occurred around 4:20 a.m. near Gessner and Clay Roads. The blast shook homes: roofs fell, windows shattered, and walls crumbled. Since the blast this morning, streets have been closed and first responders have been at the scene.
According to HP, the two victims are most likely employees since the owner can account for all but two employees.
In addition, 18 people have checked in to local area hospitals for grievances caused from the crash.
Homes are being investigated around the area, as well as cadaver dogs are being released to search for any victims.
The extent in damages caused by this untimely explosion in northwest Houston is greatly severe. Many homes are left damaged, and with it, many people inside are left with hundreds or thousands in property damage, injuries, and other catastrophes.
