The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal accident in Cypress.

The hit-and-run crash happened Wednesday morning around 7:00 a.m. According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the woman was walking in the 20000 block of FM 529 when a car hit and killed her.

Authorities are now looking for the driver who fled the scene.

All lanes in both directions are shut down at the 20000 block of FM 529.

The crash remains under investigation. Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
