Haltom City, TX (9/4/2020) – A woman was killed Friday in a fatal traffic accident in Haltom City.
The accident happened along a Haltom City highway around 7:40 a.m. when a Ford F-150 crashed into two cars, a Nissan Altima and a Ford Focus. They were parked along the highway while dealing with a flat tire.
Diaja Faye Waites, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was in one of the parked cars at the time of the wreck.
One man was critically injured and another was seriously injured in the wreck. Both suffered life-threatening injuries.
The man who was driving the pickup was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
