Houston, TX (3/31/2021) – A woman was killed and two other people were injured in a rear-end crash near Hillcroft on Sunday.

The accident happened on Beltway 8 when a Jeep Patriot going at a high rate of speed rear-ended a Dodge Ram pickup truck.

The impact of the crash caused the Jeep to roll several times. The driver was ejected.

The driver of the Jeep was killed as a result of her injuries.

Her passenger had to be cut from the Jeep and he was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the Dodge was taken to Memorial Hermann with minor injuries. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
