Worker Killed after Deadly Accident at Bayport Container Terminal

Pasadena, TX (2/24/2020) – A worker was killed while loading container onto a ship Friday morning in Pasadena.

The accident occurred at Bayport Container Terminal. According to reports, the worker was operating a vehicle that containers are loaded onto from ships. The vehicle was lifted off the ground by a crane when a container on board didn’t detach.

The worker was killed during the process.

Investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in ten days.
