Fort Worth, TX (12/16/2019) -One person is dead and another injured after a wrong-way collision on I-30 in Fort Worth Wednesday morning, December 11.
The accident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. when a vehicle was headed west in the eastbound lanes on I-30 crashed into another vehicle near Montgomery Street, according to police. Multiple vehicles swerved out of the way to avoid being hit by the vehicle.
The driver in the wrong-way vehicle was killed at the scene.
The driver in the other car was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
