Man Killed in Wreck Involving an 18-Wheeler

Irving, TX (11/27/2020) – A person is dead after a crash involving an 18-wheeler occurred Friday afternoon in Irving.

The accident happened on Highway 183 around 3:45 p.m. near Story Road. An 18-wheeler and two other vehicles were involved in the crash. Westbound lanes were closed for hours as police investigated the scene. 

A 57-year-old man in an SUV was killed as a result of the collision.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led to the accident, and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
