Austin, TX (12/4/2019) – Mark Evans, 50, is now dead after being involved in a car accident with a drunk driver in South Austin on November 30.
The incident happened right before midnight around the 8500 block of S. Congress Ave. Michael Boisse, 45, the driver of the car, was turning left on Congress Avenue with Evans as a passenger when he went into the path of an oncoming car. The collision occurred at the back right passenger door. Authorities found Evans dead in the backset of Boisse’s car.
Boisse was arrested and faces an intoxication manslaughter charge.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
