Stonewall County, TX (3/13/2021) – A woman was killed and another person was injured in a two-vehicle crash east of Aspermont Saturday morning.
The accident happened around 11:45 a.m. on SH 283
A vehicle driven by 59-year-old Tammy Diane Yarborough was headed south on FM 1835 when she failed to yield the right-of-way at the intersection of SH 283, causing her car to be struck by a pickup truck on the left side.
Yarborough was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
