Montgomery, TX (8/23/2021) – A teenager was killed after a fatal single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon.
The accident happened around 1:50 p.m. on FM 2854 when the tire blew out of a Ford F-750 electrical contractor crane as the vehicle was headed through a curve. The truck fell on its side in a ditch and trapped the occupants.
The driver, a 19-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger suffered minor injuries as a result of the wreck.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
