Teenagers Killed in Wreck on US 259

Texarkana, TX (4/26/2021) – Two teenagers were killed in a major crash Monday evening in Bowie County.

The accident happened around 6 p.m. north of DeKalb on US 259. A vehicle lost control and hit the side of a truck, crossed lanes, and was then hit by another truck while going southbound.

The two teens in the vehicle were killed.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
