Taos, NM (September 4, 2019) – The Texas country music star, Kylie Rae Harris, died in a three-vehicle accident in New Mexico.
The car accident happened Wednesday around 9:00 p.m. near Taos, New Mexico.
Ms. Harris was on her way to perform at the Big Barn Music Festival when she got into a crash involving two other vehicles.
Ms. Harris, 30, and a 16-year-old were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the third vehicle was not injured.
Ms. Harris is from Wylie, Texas and is survived by her 6-year-old daughter.
Authorities are trying to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.
