Texas is looking at new strategies to increase coronavirus vaccinations across the state. Demand has recently averaged around 130,000 vaccinations per day over the past few weeks, with less than half of those vaccinations being first-time shots. Texas is 37th in the United States for vaccinations per person, according to CDC statistics. The state is currently behind President Joe Biden’s target goal of 70% of adults vaccinated by Independence Day. Around 53% of Texan adults have received one dose of the vaccination. Current incentive programs have been put in place to curb the slowdown of vaccinations in Texas. Read on to learn about all the incentives offered in Texas.
