Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Wreck near Coleman County

Coleman County, TX (4/6/2021) – A woman was killed during a crash Tuesday night near Coleman County.

An SUV and a pickup truck collided on the US 54 bypass at North Colorado Street.
Candace Barr, 53, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

A passenger in Barr’s SUV and the driver of the pickup truck were both sent to Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene for treatment. The current conditions of the victims remain unknown.

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
