Crawford, TX (8/30/2020) – A rollover wreck with an ATV left one passenger injured near Crawford Sunday evening.
The accident happened at FM 185 near Cattle Drive around 7:30 p.m. A driver, 24, and a passenger, 22, were on the ATV when it rolled.
Both the driver and the passenger were taken to the hospital. The passenger remains in critical condition.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, 135,000 people are injured every year due to ATV, or all-terrain vehicle accidents and over 700 people die. Common causes of these accidents include reckless driving, drunk driving, and rollover accidents.
