Big Rig Crash Blocked Lanes Near Downtown
HOUSTON (November 7, 2018)- As of 6:20 a.m. Houston TranStar reports an 18-wheeler crash that has shut down the Katy Freeway’s inbound lanes near downtown.

The collision includes three additional vehicles. The wreck caused the removal of supplies from the big rig. All eastbound lanes are blocked near the I-10 and Taylor exit as crews work to clean the accident scene. Drivers are advised to take Westpark, Southwest Freeway and Memorial Drive as alternate routes heading into downtown.

There are no details on the cause of the collision or if anyone was injured. The crash remains under investigation and we will update you as the story develops.
