Bryan, TX (4/16/2020) – A boy was hospitalized after getting hit by a car while riding his bicycle Tuesday evening.
The accident happened on Sandy Point Road near Highway 21. According to police, a Nissan Titan struck a 12-year-old boy riding his bicycle while they were both traveling in the same direction.
The boy was taken to a Temple hospital where he is stabilized with critical injuries.
The driver was ticketed for Failure to Control Speed.
Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
