Pedestrian Accident Lawyer
Due to the nature of the incident, the surviving family of the pedestrian is entitled to a wrongful death claim against the Freightliner box truck driver. According to Texas law, a pedestrian has the right of way when crossing an intersection at a crosswalk. It remains to be seen, however, if the pedestrian was crossing at a red or green light, since that will determine if the drivers are wholly liable and at-fault.
