Chain Reaction Crash Left One Person Injured in Dallas

Dallas, TX (7/10/2021) – A multi-vehicle crash on the Dallas North Tollway left one person injured Saturday night.

The accident happened near Northaven Road around 8:30 p.m. due to a stranded motorist. A vehicle was hit in backup traffic, causing a chain-reaction crash with at least five vehicles. 

One person was sent to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Northbound lanes of the toll road were closed until around 2:30 a.m. 

Crash investigators will review all factors that may have led up to the accident and police reports will be made available in fourteen days.
