Austin, TX (May 28) – Austin police have now confirmed the identity of a pedestrian who was killed in a hit-and-run incident last month. Chase Nelson, 31, was struck at around 1:18 a.m. in the 13300 block of south Interstate 35. Police say the driver left the scene without offering assistance to Nelson.
The hit-and-run accident is still under investigation. Police are asking anyone with additional information to call the Highway Investigation Tip Line at (512) 974-8111.
